Our values
Humanity. Professionalism. Solidarity. Partnership. Resilience. Accountability.
We believe that quality medical care begins with respect for every person. Working in wartime, we combine international experience, professional expertise and a deep understanding of the needs of Ukrainian communities in order to help today and strengthen the health system for the future.
Humanity
People are at the centre of our work. We respect the dignity, needs and experience of everyone we help and of those who help others every day. We strive to ensure that assistance is accessible, safe and dignified for everyone.
Professionalism
We strive for the highest standards in medicine and emergency response. We share knowledge, develop practical skills and introduce evidence-based approaches so that professionals can act with confidence where every decision matters.
Solidarity
We bring together Ukrainian and international medical professionals, rescuers, first responders, health care facilities, communities, educational institutions, and governmental and civil society organisations. We believe that joint action allows us to achieve more and to respond to crises more effectively.
Partnership
We work together with local professionals and teams, not in their place. We listen to their needs, take local experience into account and jointly seek solutions that fit real working conditions — from the hospital to the scene of an emergency.
Resilience
We aim not only to respond to a crisis, but also to help people and systems be prepared for future challenges. By training health workers, rescuers and first responders, we strengthen Ukraine’s capacity to save lives today and in the future.
Accountability
We take responsibility for the people, resources and trust entrusted to us. We work transparently and ethically, and focus on real results and long-term impact.
Our values define not only what we do, but also how we do it — with respect for people, responsibility for results and faith in a strong and resilient health system in Ukraine.
