Training workshop for families of missing persons: “Strength to Live: Restoring Resources through Healing Contact with Nature”
The psychological burden of war is extremely high, especially for families of missing persons. MedGlobal supports women and children through therapeutic mental health retreats that combine psychoeducation, mindfulness practices and creative activities.
Simple, human activities — such as art therapy, movement and even baking bread — create a safe space for emotional release and support. Participants say that these gatherings help them regain a sense of calm, strengthen family bonds and find inner resources for living in uncertainty.
Training for mental health trainers
The training for mental health trainers aims to strengthen educators’ practical skills in social and psychological work with vulnerable communities in Ukraine, and to pay attention to the prevention of professional burnout and the strengthening of their psycho-emotional resilience. Participants share professional experience, develop their training competencies and learn practical approaches that they can apply in their work with educators, social workers, communities and other professional groups.
