NGO “MedGlobal Ukraine” holds a training for mental health trainers
The training for mental health trainers strengthened educators’ skills in working with vulnerable communities and preventing burnout.

In June, MedGlobal Ukraine organised a two-day mental health retreat for 26 family members of missing persons, creating a safe space for psychological support, the restoration of inner resources and the strengthening of emotional resilience.
The participants were wives, mothers, sisters and other loved ones of missing persons, who live every day in painful uncertainty. The retreat programme was designed around their needs and combined modern psychotherapeutic methods with practices that help restore a sense of inner support.
Over the two days, participants took part in bread therapy and art therapy sessions, body-oriented practices, and exercises in self-regulation, team building and mutual support. Time spent in nature and contact with people going through a similar experience helped reduce stress levels, process difficult emotions and build new resources for coping with everyday challenges.
MedGlobal Ukraine continues to support people affected by the war by implementing comprehensive mental health programmes that help not only to overcome the consequences of traumatic experience, but also to restore resilience, human dignity and hope.
